A Voice in the Wilderness

"For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God." Romans 8:19

If you're a parent, then you know what it's like to eagerly await the birth of your baby. During the whole nine months, we speak to our unborn child, all the while we're anticipating the sound of their voice. Those first words are so precious, usually it's Mama or Dada. Just to hear them calling our name causes us to rejoice.

How do you think God feels when a "newborn" babe is birthed into his household? He is more than excited, especially when we first call on his name. He knows that voice inside of us was designed to carry a message of hope to all of creation.

We know that John the Baptist was a voice in the wilderness and Jesus himself went into the wilderness to pray. In the wilderness Jesus was tempted by Satan, but he overcame him with the word of God. In the wilderness we are separate from distractions, which enables us to hear. Each time Jesus came back from praying, he had a message to deliver with his voice.

You are also a voice that needs to release hope. What is the world waiting to hear from you? What do you have inside that needs to be birthed? After the Israelites were delivered from their oppressor, it didn't take long to hear that the oppression still lived in them. Moses came as a voice, sent to them by the Great I AM. Because of their constant murmuring and complaining, they camped for forty years in the wilderness, just outside of the promised land.

After Moses died, Joshua and Caleb became God's voices in the wilderness. These two were the only ones that actually entered the promised land. They had something different in their Spirit. Determination and courage. Caleb in Hebrew means faith, devotion and wholehearted. Joshua means salvation.

God told Joshua, do not be afraid and be very courageous. Joshua and Caleb boldy voiced God's will to the people. The sad thing is, they were a stiff necked, stubborn people and did not listen. Thus they never inherited the promise. It's not our job to force people into doing, but we do have a responsibility to be a willing voice for God to proclaim his will to the slaves that are still bound.

In the wilderness we pray, grow and go! Just don't stay there, you're supposed to move into the promised land.

Don't be silent, millions are waiting

to hear what God has already said.

"LET MY PEOPLE GO!!"

DOES YOUR BOSS OWN YOU??

ACTUALLY.....THEY ..DO !

“The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is slave to the lender.”

“The rich rules over the poor and the borrower is servant to the lender.” .

Under the Old Covenant, in order to qualify for the blessing, we were required to keep the entirety of God’s laws and commands, otherwise we suffered under the curse.

Under the New Covenant- The blessing of God hasn’t changed, obedience is still required. However-we qualify for the entire blessing, because to God- we have kept all those laws, because someone else stepped in and took our place. Christ Jesus.

He became cursed so that we could become righteous. He took the full punishment for breaking the law, although He himself never broke it. Since he never broke one single law, the entirety of the Law and every condition was met and completely fulfilled through Him. (2 Corinthians 5:21)

OLD:

“If you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth.  And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you.” Deuteronomy 28:1

NEW:

“Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.  For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled.” Matthew 5:17

Under the old covenant we were slaves to the Law. In other words, we suffered the consequences of the curse of sin and death. Under the new covenant, we are no longer slaves, but have become sons and daughters, we are no longer under the curse, but we inherit the blessing.

“A slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever.” (John 8:35).

Part of the blessing of our inheritance in the new covenant is the promise of being the lender and not the borrower, the head and not the tail. (Deuteronomy 28:12)

GOD DOES NOT WANT US POOR...OR OWNED BY A BOSS!

The blessing...Is Healing, and abundant prosperity.

Being the lender means you’re in a position of authority over large amounts of money and able to make financial decisions and multiple choices, void of financial restraint. There is NO financial BONDAGE!!.

There is so much included in the blessing, in all of its fullness. Sadly, many are still living under the influence of poverty...

ALL BECAUSE OF MINDSET AND CHOICES... :( :(

“For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor that, you through His poverty might become rich” (2 Corinthians 8:9).

Usually, when people hear the word poverty they associate the term with being homeless or starving. But that is not the case. Poverty means to lack, have need, or to suffer hardship. Have you ever been in need, or come up short at the end of the month? Most people do, each and every month. According to the American Census Bureau, one in three Americans are either in poverty or in the fretful zone just above it.

If the majority of our working class citizens continue following the same “treadmill pattern” - repeating the process of trading in working time for dollars, and nothing is done to diversify or bring in any additional income, the lack will remain.

Many will never realize financial freedom ...Because they are limited..and molded..in thier unbelief.

Hosea 4:6

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.

Take a look at the following terms and see if they resemble the typical job.

Servant- A person who is hired to perform duties. The alternate definition is: “a person who is devoted or guided by something.”

Slave- Someone who is legally owned by another person and is forced to work for that person without pay. A person who is strongly influenced and controlled by something, one that is completely subservient to a dominating influence.

Choices...

How many choices does a slave have? How many choices do you have on your job? Can you go on vacation whenever you want, wherever you want..for as long as you want?

Can you give yourself a salary increase??

Is your paycheck limited to the number of hours you worked last week?

God gives us knowledge and freedom to choose.

“This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live” (Deuteronomy 30).

We can choose to either stay where we’re at or we can choose to step out into the place of where we can be. The leader, the lender....

There is an abundance of wealth waiting for you to apprehend.

If we are experiencing lack, it is not because God has not kept His promise. it's because we have not acted upon knowledge and instruction to get out of debt. It is not God’s fault. He has already done His part. There are plenty of opportunities to act upon.

We are not supposed to be in bondage to ..Pharaoh- modern day boss, but to occupy the land of Cannan...more than enough. If we can't help another person in lack- what kind of witness are we??

We represent a bountiful King?

1 John 3:17 “But if anyone has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God’s love abide in him? Little children, let us not love in word or talk, but in deed and in truth.”

Philippians 2:4 “Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.”

Quit settling for mediocity, quit quitting on your dream.

Millions of Israelite slaves actually wanted to go back to their captivity. WHY??

We are looking for some courageous Caleb’s & Joshua’s. There is land with your name on it..but ,,,you have to go in and take it!

You were born to be free and… set others free.
